Staff from Venus had a great time at the 2011 Plymouth Inspire event on 13th Oct. The event was held at the University of Plymouth and was aimed at young people looking for careers and training. Nearly 100 young people took our nutrition challenge as part of the World Skills London Have a Go campaign.

Venus training celebrated Dementia Awareness Day on 17th September with Mayflower House Care Home. A number of professionals spent the morning at the home delivering activity sessions for the residents and training for family members and staff. Activity sessions included; baking cakes with Inge Cox, gentle exercise with Guy Brightman from PTGuy and reminiscence with Janet Jones from Think Life. The turn out and feedback was fantastic.
